Honour Roll & Meritorious Requirements

Honour Roll:  

  • Awarded to students who have achieved 80% or higher in classes listed by the grade level requirements.

  • Electives can be from any grade level completed during the school year.

  • Core classes can be taken from ANY school year

  • Regular, Modified, Vocational or any combination of these credits can be used to determine honour role eligibility.

 

Grade 9 Highest marks in: (6 courses)

  • ELA 9 (average of ELA A09 and ELA B09)

  • Math 9

  • Science 9

  • Social 9

  • Electives (x2)

 

Grade 10 Highest marks in: (7 courses)

  • 10-level English A

  • 10-level English B

  • 10-level Math

  • 10-level Science

  • 10-level Social Science (History, Native Studies, Social Studies)

  • Elective (x2) from any level during current school year

 

Grade 11 Highest marks in: (7 courses)

  • 20-level English

  • 20-level Math

  • 20-level Science

  • Electives (x4) from any level during current school year

 

Grade 12 Highest marks in: (6 courses)

  • 30-level English A

  • 30-level English B

  • 30-level Social Science (History, Native Studies, Social Studies)

  • Elective (x3) from any level during current school year

 

Highest Proficiency Academic Medals; Bronze, Silver, Gold:

  • The top three averages taken from the honour roll list given to each grade level.

Meritorious Award:

  • Any student who achieves a 90% or higher in any subject area in the current school year

Governor General Medal:

  • Highest Average of all 20-level AND 30-level marks. Regardless of location mark received from (in Regina, from the Music Conservatory), the level (modified, vocational). Go to whatever decimal point is needed to determine the winner.

 

Participation Awards:

 

Participation Certificates (Grade 9-12)

  • Have earned a minimum of 20 points by participating in athletics, fine arts and clubs during the current school year.

 

Alite Flamman Participation Award (Grade 12s)

  • Students who earned between 75-99 points over the course of their four years through participation in athletics, fine arts and clubs.

 

Alite Flamman Excellence in Participation Award (Grade 12s)

  • Students who earned over 100 points over the course of their four years through participation in athletics, fine arts and clubs
