The Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) program is a partnership with the Government of
Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), and the provincial school boards.
The MHCB program aims to promote mental health and well-being by increasing individuals’ knowledge,
skills, and confidence surrounding mental health. These objectives are met by utilizing a comprehensive
school community health approach that focuses on environment, teaching/ learning, school policy, and
partnerships.
Our goal is to promote protective factors of mental well-being and reduce preventable risk factors by
fostering environments that support safety and trust while delivering evidence-based programming.
